Alumina Titania

Fused Alumina-Titania is a composite ceramic material commonly used in thermal spray coatings, combining the properties of aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) and titanium dioxide (TiO₂). Typically blends have titania varying from 1% to 40%, this material offers a balanced combination of hardness, toughness, and corrosion resistance.

The presence of titania enhances the coating’s toughness and thermal shock resistance, while alumina provides high hardness, wear resistance, and electrical insulation.
