Ruby Fused Alumina

Ruby Fused Alumina is a further enhancement of pink fused alumina, containing a higher concentration of chromium oxide. This results in improved toughness, better thermal resistance, and a more refined cutting edge. Ruby alumina is particularly suitable for precision grinding of hardened steel, tools, and high-alloy components. It is frequently used in vitrified grinding wheels where stability, smooth cutting, and excellent surface finishes are required. Its fine microstructure enables it to retain sharpness over extended use.
