Applications:
It is used in flow control refractories like Zirconia insert of tundish nozzle, slide gate plate insert making, used sometime in monoblock stopper & as an additive in bricks for different applications of high alkali environment.
Casting Molds: Ideal for producing molds that can withstand high temperatures during metal casting processes.
Thermal Barrier Coatings: Applied as thermal barrier coatings in industrial equipment, where high- temperature resistance is crucial.

High corrosion resistance specially against slag, high melting point ~2680 ˚C.
