Applications:

Product Features:

High strength at elevated temperatures (at 1000°C, SiC is 7.5 times stronger than Al₂O₃).

SiC has a modulus of elasticity of 410 GPa.

Maintains its strength with no reduction up to 1600°C.

Does not melt at normal pressures; instead, it dissociates at 2600°C.
Brown Fused Alumina – ABM is manufactured by reduction smelting of high-grade calcined bauxite, followed by slow solidification. It is characterized by high alumina content, low iron content, large crystal size, and high refractoriness. It is used in the manufacture of shaped refractories and bricks for blast furnaces, foundry ladles, induction furnaces, and sintering furnaces.
