Great White is a high-purity, dense white fused alumina manufactured in an electric arc furnace using calcined alumina. Controlled solidification of the fused mass ensures the formation of alpha-phase alumina with large crystals and low surface porosity. Great White grits are produced using state-of-the-art crushing and grading facilities and are used in various shaped, unshaped refractories and monolithic applications.
