White Fused Alumina Oxide (WC) is produced by fusing high-purity Bayer alumina in an electric arc furnace. WC is characterized by its high purity, large crystal size, and high hardness while remaining friable. Its friable nature enables faster cutting action and a cooler cut, making WC a preferred grain for coated abrasive applications.
